MARCH 2014 – CHARLES & KEITH participates in Earth Hour for the sixth consecutive year. With the aim to raise awareness for climate change and to reduce carbon footprint, besides switching of the non-essential lights at participating stores in Singapore, from 8:30 – 9:30pm on 29 March 2014, the brand will also be switching off its Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) screens at two of their stores for the day.

With Environmental initiatives part of the brand’s Social Responsibility focus, CHARLES & KEITH believes in creating a sustainable environment through its actions. The brand uses Forest-Stewardship Certified (FSC) material for its shopping bags and catalogues and has switched to using LED lights for the stores.

Tapping on social media, uploads will be made on Facebook and Twitter to encourage fans to participate in this global movement by    switching     off       their     lights     during     Earth     Hour.
CHARLES & KEITH will also upload a short video on Instagram with simple tips to care for the environment and raise awareness of climate change.
