Singapore - Carrying for a Cause.

CHARLES & KEITH pays unique tribute to the women who have battled and are affected by breast cancer, with the launch of Paint It Pink with That's Berry Daring by OPI nail lacquer in September / October 2012 in support of Breast Cancer Foundation.

The cause
Drawing inspiration from the iconic breast cancer pink shade, CHARLES & KEITH returns to bare beauty basics with a vivacious, eye-catching pink nail lacquer, a colour portraying the style element. Integrating beauty and philanthropy in one luscious bottle, the campaign is the epitome of beauty at the fingertips for contemporary ladies who not only aspire to look fabulous, but feel good in her fashion choices.

The story
Ushering into the fourth consecutive year of launching breast cancer initiatives, CHARLES & KEITH incorporates the daring factor and injects chic wonderment in a compact nail bottle. Painting it pink with That's Berry Daring, an emblematic of femininity, the colour is a testament of support and homage to women who are fighting against breast cancer, albeit in a practical essential that is the perfect accessory for shoe lovers and every beauty junkie. Step out in style while making a statement with this bold shade of pink - a symbol of femininity and bravura, is what the campaign sincerely advocates.

The facts
Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting Singaporean women. Every year, more than 1,400 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 300 die as a result of it. Awareness and early detection, along with raising more funds to find a cure, are the key emphasis of conquering this disease. As such, part of the proceeds of OPI nail lacquer will go towards supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation's mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through raising awareness and encouraging women to go for regular screenings.

The nail lacquer is retailing at SGD 20 per bottle, while stocks last and available in limited quantities at CHARLES & KEITH stores island-wide.
