STORIES by CHARLES & KEITH: On the streets of Adelaide, as captured by Shauna Voon
We asked Shauna what she thinks about Adelaide.
“Adelaide is a small city with little hidden gems along the way. With the slight English and Parisian essence in architecture, Adelaide seems to change how it looks every season, which is a breath of fresh air from the conventional bustling city.”

“Winter is all about flat foot huggers, calf-high favourites and sometimes the occasion heels. Transitioning from laid-back casuals to layering favourites are the key to survive the schizophrenic weathers of Adelaide. Due to my long hours of running from meetings to a photography session with clients, comfort footwear are typically my ideal pieces.”
The devotion in her creative work in the form of writing, photography and creative concepts is curated as a medium of expression through editorial value and context.
When we asked Shauna which is her favourite look, she answered, “the skirt over pants layering, definitely! Paired with combat boots.”
We asked for her favorite quote:
“Fashion is the armour to survive the reality of everyday life.” – Bill Cunningham

We asked Shauna about her style. “My style consists a lot of monochromes and classic dark tonal combination. Aside from that, my style has stayed true to loose silhouettes and structured pieces that has a slight androgyny or tomboy essence, as well as unconventional layering. Layering has been a big part of my personal style as I feel more comfortable piling clothing on—just like skirts over pants.”
