CHARLES & KEITH SUMMER 2018 is a continuation from the Spring campaign titled ‘Garden State’. Based on the theme of new technologies and their increasingly complex role in society, the campaign imagines the effects that social media and digital culture would have on us in the near future.

CHARLES & KEITH SPRING/SUMMER 2018 campaign titled ‘Garden State’, is centered around the theme of mass media, and a scrutiny of its increasingly complex role in society. Taking an introspective gaze, it examines how external influences have the ability to shape one’s reality.

17 July | FALL/WINTER 2017 COLLECTION I
CHARLES & KEITH Fall/Winter 2017 takes inspiration from the ideas, aesthetics and values of pop-culture and postmodern films. The season in a snapshot is a pastiche of highly stylised visuals with vivid contrasts that is iconic to pop culture and post modernism, with a keen fondness for the 50s. Unfolding like the chapters of a story-within-a-story in a theatre setting, the narrative follows a postmodernist ideology, delving into the themes of onscreen clichés, superficial perfection and false realism.

5 April | SRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION II
CHARLES & KEITH SUMMER 2017 explores the stage of illumination during one’s creative processes. It is a time where the work gets frustrating, and impulsion slips in before the ‘eureka’ moment. In the second series of the campaign shot by Glen Luchford and choreographed by Stephen Galloway, the story goes back in time, where Ally Ertel and Peyton Knight first met as strangers. It explores the process where two find comfort in the compromised and clumsy.

2 Feb | SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION I
CHARLES & KEITH SPRING/SUMMER 2017 explores creative processes and the way it motivates advancements and pushes our endeavors. Directed by Glen Luchford and choreographed by Stephen Galloway, the campaign follows Ally Ertel and Peyton Knight as they progress from strangers to muse. The vivid film sees them through the exploration of oneself, and realization that you don’t have to be so serious because art can express what words cannot.

27 Sep | FALL/WINTER 2016 COLLECTION II
As part of the campaign shot by Glen Luchford, the CHARLES & KEITH FALL/WINTER 2016 story continues its coming-of-age narrative. The campaign story of the carefree and curious period of one’s youth is presented such that viewers not only take a glimpse into the playful innocence of the girls, but also a glimpse into their own memories of younger days. Eventually, the mustang prompts the idea of seeking freedom and the great escape outside the mansion.

25 July | FALL/WINTER 2016 COLLECTION
Shot by Glen Luchford, CHARLES & KEITH FALL/WINTER 2016 pays attention to the carefree yet curious stage of one’s youth – a period which celebrates vibrancy, freedom, impulsiveness and creativity. Taking inspiration from the notorious youth cultures of the 60’s through 90’s, the campaign crafts a story of 2 girls in an unoccupied mansion that has seen more glorious days.

CHARLES & KEITH SUMMER 2016 draws on a tale of one’s journey to self discovery, a delivery of self expressionism. Pushing forth the idea of self identity, a series of visual narratives portray the dialogues of one’s inner thoughts. In this issue, international style authority Kristina Bazan shares her journey in life and contributing editor, Clifford Loh of Vulture Magazine chronicles the unpredictability of inner voyage through captivating visuals.

8 March | CHARLES & KEITH COLLABORATES WITH SINGAPORE COMMITTEE FOR UN WOMEN
Since 2012, as part of the brand’s philanthropic efforts, CHARLES & KEITH has been partnering with Singapore Committee for UN Women to champion gender equality, as well as to demonstrate its support for women-related causes around the world. Joining CHARLES & KEITH in this effort is Singaporean female icon Sandra Riley Tang, who breaks convention to excel in a traditionally male-dominated sport, reshaping the way that women are being perceived today.
For International Women’s Day 2018, in line with the theme ‘Time Is Now’, the fashion brand has launched an exclusive collection that features a light grey quilted crossbody bag and light grey quilted wallet to support the peaceful but urgent press for female empowerment. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of these items will also go to Singapore Committee for UN Women to fund the organisation’s programmes and initiatives.

Designed by CHARLES & KEITH and handmade by Freeset using 100% organic cotton, every product made contributes to the ongoing freedom of women previously entrapped in India’s sex trade. Floral Days features a tote bag, pouch and keyring illustrated with blossoming flowers, symbolizing the women of Freeset’s newfound liberty and promise of a new beginning in life.

To raise awareness for climate change and inspire customers in protecting the natural environment, the brand will switch off non-essential lights and Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) screens at participating stores in Singapore, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on 19th March 2016.
