The Hosts

Yoyo Cao, better known as @yoyokulala, is one of the internationally recognised social media personalities. Her ability to effortlessly remix current trends with her distinctive borrowed-from-the-boys flair has catapulted her to the forefront of the international street style circuit. Other than inspiring hundreds of thousands daily through her social media platforms and website YOYOKULALA.COM, Yoyo has also used her influence to spark discourse about important subjects, such as sustainability and women-related issues.

Emily Lam-Ho is an internationally recognised change-maker in the areas of sustainability and women leadership. She is the CEO and co-founder of EcoDriveHK, a charity organisation based in Hong Kong, which works to promote awareness about the environmental impact of single-use plastic. She also recently launched 8shades, a purpose-driven lifestyle platform to promote sustainable living. As an avid social impact investor, she has focused on supporting and funding female entrepreneurship that has a positive social or environmental impact.

In a sweet exchange during the live chat, Emily expressed gratitude for the support and friendship that Yoyo provided when she was building her website 8SHADES.COM. She also mentioned that every day should be International Women’s Day as women need to love and celebrate themselves every single day, a statement that Yoyo concurred with.
