As part of the campaign shot by Glen Luchford, the CHARLES & KEITH FALL/WINTER 2016 story continues its coming-of-age narrative. The campaign story of the carefree and curious period of one’s youth is presented such that viewers not only take a glimpse into the playful innocence of the girls, but also a glimpse into their own memories of younger days. Eventually, the mustang prompts the idea of seeking freedom and the great escape outside the mansion.

This issue covers the topic of youth in the curious ways they make deep-knitted, almost surreal attachment with spaces and people to create memories, even in the most mundane things and places. Like that, intimate memories of youthful days are created. Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Thailand, Duang Poshyanonda shares her inspirations and fascination with all things surreal.

Opening the FALL/WINTER 2016 magazine is ‘Idle Mode’, shot by 22-year-old budding fashion photographer, Ana Larruy. The editorial explores what it means to be bored in today’s busy culture. Featuring this season's collection of platform boots, towering pumps and slingback wedges in hushed hues of navy, olive and cognac against a complementary backdrop, the editorial reminds us to slow down and enjoy the slumber as winter approaches.

Going back to one of this season’s key theme of attachment with spaces, Parks & Recreation is set in the lush outdoors. Shot by Julien Bernard and art directed by Clifford Loh, managing editor of Vulture Magazine, the editorial recognizes that the spaces we inhabit is slowly moving away from the comforts of nature. This editorial also explores our primal need to get in touch and recognise our dependance on its quiet reassurance — a way to reconnect with a breath of much desired fresh air.

Inspired by the aesthetics of the French New Wave, Coterie delves into our need for acceptance, belonging and love — its narrative follows a budding friendship and its complexities in youth. Also shot by Julien Bernard and art directed by Clifford Loh, the editorial adopts the ethos of the New Wave; where its viewers’ experiences, thoughts and emotions play a part in determining its ending and narrative.

From the languorous to the thrill-seeker, winter staples are explored in cool hues, earthy neutrals, and subtly lavish tones. A contemporary touch is added to classic styles, exuding an easy elegance in relaxed and refined designs from multi-strap details, textured block heel brogues, and velvet mary-janes.

Strong visual textures and warm tones features a range extending from combat-style boots, loafers, block heel platforms, and velvet high-ankle boots, textural contrast and layering gives practicality and functionality a distinctive flair.

Giving form to an interpretation of awe and curiosity, rich opulent tones and embellishments are used to create a bold statement as sphere heels, jacquard-printed texture, metallic gold, suede, and micro-studs are used on platform sneakers, mules, t-bar sandals, and kitten heel pumps.

Costume jewellery are kept in minimal geometric forms, exuding a quiet sense of confidence and eloquence.
