05 JUNE 2010 – Charles & Keith is delighted to be part of World Environment Day June 05, 2010 for the second consecutive year by spreading the message to stimulate awareness for the environment and public action while shopping.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own recyclable bags or can volunteer to donate $0.50 per paper bag used for their purchases. The funds collected will be donated to Charles & Keith's plant-a-tree program to benefit Garden City Fund. In addition, Charles & Keith will donate 1% of the day's total sale transactions to planting trees.
Our planet is facing enormous environmental threats. Together, Charles & Keith calls for every individual to make this collective tree planting initiative a success.
Charles & Keith will be streaming a special video at CharlesKeith.com to share the importance of energy conservation; starting with reducing, reusing and recycling.
